Dear Salomon Friends

It is with great gratitude that I write to you with regards the following:

I have been offered, and accepted the position - Salomon Brand Manager - for the United Arab Emirates - based in Dubai.

At this stage it is a 3-year contract, and my wife and two daughters will be joining me in Dubai.

I owe every person that I have dealt with in the last couple of years, - only the biggest of - thank you's!

I intend flying the South African flag high out there in the desert, and it will be great catching up with you when you are planning a stop over, or coming to compete.

I will be concluding my Salomon SA duties at the end of September 2008.

In the meantime, please don't hesitate to call the new team members.

It has been a privilege to be part of Salomon in South Africa, and indeed to have done business with yourselves.
