Island Style’s Pro Team signed Travis Logie and Stacey Guy

Travis Logie, a former ISA World Open Champion, has returned to Island Style’s Pro Team, the brand he was associated with during his rookie year on the WCT, where he was placed 20th – the highest ranking South African on tour. In addition to using Island Style equipment, Logie will be designing his own signature Traxtion Pad, which is to be released early this year.

Stacey, the current SA Number Two Women’s surfer, will be heading up the Island Style Girl’s Team for 2009. She received South African colours as a member of the U23 team in 2006, and was also the team captain. She earned her South African Junior colours in 2002 and 2003 and was WP Champion from 2002 to 2007. Island Style plan on doing a Signature Stacey Guy Traxtion Pad in the first half of 2009 with Stacey’s own design, input and R&D.
