Leading sporting goods distributor successfully secures another acquisition

Global toys distributor, Mookie International, had previously supplied a limited range of similar products, under the ‘Slamball’ brand to Prima Toys, South Africa. The ‘Slamball range has now been discontinued and Dunslaz Distributors will be offering the entire Swingball product range to local retailers. Super-Brands (Pty) Ltd, the holding company for Dunslaz Distributors, have been awarded the rights to distribute the international Swingball range alongside their current Swingball range.

There is much to gain for retailers from this new joint venture. Providing a wide selection of products, the Swingball brand has a valuable brand heritage dating back over 30 years. Through providing a comprehensive range, inconsistencies around inaccurate branding and product representation will be eliminated, generic product packaging and advertising campaigns can also be implemented on both a local and global scale, strengthening the overall visibility and the positioning of the brand.
