Changes at Leisure GolfA reliable source told Sports Trader that Global Golf will take over the Mizuno distributing rights in SA from Leisure Golf and that Rob Bartram will be joining his wife Jo at Global Golf to distribute the brand alongside their other brands. The rest of Leisure Golf’s golf brands — like Etonic, Top Flite and Ben Hogan — will be run as a separate company, headed by Grant Stephen.
Leisure Golf’s other top international sporting brands will remain in the company run by Peter Reeves and Brett Burnill, namely racket brand Prince, Gray-Nicolls cricket, Grays hockey, ballsport brand Mitre (official ball of schools netball), swimming brand Arena (official supplier to Swimming SA), etc. At the time of going to press, we could not obtain confirmation from Leisure Golf.
