Dreyer promotes new Hi-Tec technologyHi-Tec has signed an exclusive endorsement deal with top SA adventure racers Martin Dreyer and Jeannie Bomford to introduce their latest technology: the ion-mask Hydrophobic (HPi). Unlike the ion-mask WPi, the hydrophobic HPi footwear is not designed to be waterproof, but it ensures that your footwear absorbs less water, staying lighter, repelling dirt and preventing long-term mud build-up.
Dreyer – whose accomplishments include Land Rover G4 World Champion, seven times Dusi Canoe Marathon Champion and top international adventure racer competing in the Raid Finals and Adventure Racing World Championships - has signed an exclusive sponsorship deal. Bomford has also signed with Hi-Tec. She is the current Total Sports Challenge champion, winner of the Garmin Wartrail, winner of the Land Rover G4 Challenge National Selections and is a member of 1st place team USN in the Bull of Africa. Hi-Tec also supports Dreyer’s “Change a Life” project and has supplied the V-Lite Trail Eruption HPi to him and his team who competed with great distinction in the Dusi Canoe marathon. The team members were hand-picked from rural villages in KwaZulu Natal, where they were essentially cattle herders and never had any experience in a boat or canoe.
